Eva Quittman

Eva graduated with distinction from Yale University with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Spanish. They have nearly a decade of teaching experience, including as a Learning Assistant at Montgomery College, a private tutor, and a peer tutor at Yale. With a strong background in competition math and inquiry-based learning, Eva emphasizes problem-solving skills and critical thinking to help students meet their learning goals. She specializes in math, chemistry, and Spanish, but also enjoys helping students build their skills in writing and editing, and preparing them for mastery in A.P. Music Theory. Eva believes that the key to learning is having fun, and they emphasize building rapport with students to help them feel confident and empowered in their studies. In her free time, Eva can be found hiking, taking nature photos, crocheting, and playing jazz piano.

Jason Lee, Ph.D.

Jason graduated with a B.S. Mathematics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California San Diego. Jason has over twenty years of teaching experience, and is currently a Professor of Mathematics at Montgomery College. His teaching experiences have ranged from math workshop coordinator to graduate teaching assistant to full-time mathematics professor. Jason tutors a wide variety of mathematics classes, from high school classes such as algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and AP calculus, to advanced mathematics classes such as multivariable calculus, discrete math, linear algebra, differential equations, abstract algebra, and real analysis. He also tutors a handful of computer sciences classes, in particular design and analysis of algorithms, and theory of computing. Away from the world of mathematics, Jason is a competitive backgammon player, and an avid bicyclist and baseball fan.
